Grants and Grants Management

Through the grant-making process, the Trust  supports quality programs and organizations, encourages innovation, seeks organizations that can clearly define their goals and plans to meet their goals and invests in organizations that provide financial transparency with the potential to become self-sustaining over time.   Grants management provides oversight and uses observation, assessment and evaluation tools to provide clear, measurable indicators of a program’s effectiveness.   The Trust applies its granting expertise in partnership with several District agencies and administers grants to community-based organizations for a number of initiatives.

Latest RFPs

The Trust releases periodic Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for targeted grant-making initiatives and does not accept applications for funding outside of the RFP process. RFPs are posted here and are listed with the Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grants Development.
