DC BESTThe Trust recognizes the important role youth workers play in the lives of young people in DC. The Trust is the local provider of BEST (Building Exemplary Systems of Training), nationally recognized professional development for adults who work with youth offered by the Academy for Educational Development. Through DC BEST, the Trust provides high-quality training for all District youth workers so that youth are better supported in their growth and development. More > |
Additional Training OfferingsThe Trust offers a variety of classes and seminars to support the Out-of-School Time (OST) community in the District. Several timely trainings have been developed in response to the ideas, issues and needs identified by providers, advocates and funders. More > |
Adult and Family Education ProgramsThe Trust recognizes the importance of parents’ success in strengthening families – and strengthening youth outcomes.
